Give friends & family a helping hand

Just before the holidays, I finished writing a new book for Microsoft Press called Windows Vista Plain & Simple Guide to Helping Family & Friends, a 120-page book that is bundled in with the best-selling Windows Vista Plain & Simple, by Jerry Joyce and Marianne Moon.

The fun thing about this book is that it's written for the person who is helping someone else choose, set up, and use a computer for the first time. So if you're helping your mom or dad get online, for example, or you're being a volunteer tech support person for your friend's business, you'll find practical ideas, suggestion, and tech tips to help you answer questions and anticipate (and avoid) problems. Not only did we have a blast doing this one, I think we also made computer-book publishing history with our lightning-fast speed and stellar accuracy. Go team! :)
